By creating an account with STR Books ("we," "us," "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
STR Books is a bookkeeping tool that helps vacation rental hosts track income and expenses, import statements from third-party booking platforms (such as Airbnb and VRBO), log mileage, and generate reports. The Service is a record-keeping aid only and does not constitute tax, legal, or accounting advice. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all imported and entered data and for your own tax filings.
Subscription pricing is based on the number of active vacation rental listings in your account, as shown on our Pricing page. Your plan is automatically adjusted when you add or remove listings. Accounts with 10 or more listings require a custom quote and are not billed automatically. Fees are billed monthly in advance via our payment processor, Stripe, and are non-refundable except as required by law.
You retain ownership of the financial data, receipts, images, and other content you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to provide the Service to you. You represent that you have the right to upload any statements, receipts, or images you submit.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access other customers' data, uploading malicious files, or using the Service for unlawful purposes.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or have payment failures that are not resolved after notice.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ERRORS IN IMPORTED OR CALCULATED FINANCIAL DATA. CONSULT A QUALIFIED TAX PROFESSIONAL FOR ADVICE SPECIFIC TO YOUR SITUATION.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
